more than 150 baby bones found under house

Last week a guy found more than 150 bones under his house. He was re-doing his floor boards and he found little baby bones. The bones were looked at and they are said to be human baby bones. This house is the oldest in its county it was build in 1840. It is from during the Civil War. This house is famous because of the guy who lived there(James something).  They say the babies probably died from scarlet fever when they were little and put their when they died.

Bad fire in Australia

There is a '"catastrophic'" fire in the southeastern part of Australia. Temperatures may rise to 109 degrees Fahrenheit near Sydney. There are high winds pushing the fire around (43 mph). The wind also brings the temperature down in some places so its not so hot there. 90% of the area is in a sever risk form this fire they could loose their homes or loose lives loved one form this. Because if this huge fire some people think the risk is as bad as 'black Saturday' that happened in 2009. Black Saturday killed 173 people and injured 500. Also destroying lots of homes.  There are 130 fires going on Tuesday and there were still a bunch  uncontrolled. They say no homes have been destroyed as of Tuesday. They have hot dry conditions witch doesn't help the fire can spread easily in these conditions. I would never want to live in a area where they have wildfires.

cars sales go up

In five years they think car sales will go up. At the end of last year 2012 there was 14.5 million sales. It went up 13% form 2011 and its the largest sales increase since 1984. Jesse Toprak said "It certainly shows the demand is coming back". This really surprises me with such high gas prices and with the was our economy is. They say that improving employment and better financing is helping increase sales. Also people are buying used cars and trading in their old cars to get a new one. This is helping too and that is also included in the 14.5 million. So its not just brand new cars people are buying. Are things starting to turn around that people are spending money on new cars with the high gas prices?
