adopted boy killed

A three year old boy that was adopted from Russia is now dead. Laura and Alan Shatto from Texas were the adoptive parents to Max. When they autopsy was done they had found more then 30 bruises on this little boy. Also the autopsy showed the cause of death was accidental. They said the boy had small bowel mesentery artery because of blunt trauma to the abdomen. The parents said max had a history of "banging his head on the bathtub, throwing himself down, holding his breath and clawing himself" . The jury declined to indict the parents. They say they found no evidence to charge them with. But the Russian officials accused the parents of killing the boy. Also the Russian government passed a law so now american can't adopted children form Russia.
