doctors sued for surgicllaty choosing childs gender

The parents that adopted a child that had both male an female parts are suing he doctors that preformed the surgery to remove on of the parts.This surgery happened when the baby was only 16 months old. The baby was adopted because his mother was unfit and the father left him. The adoptive parents didn't make the decision the doctors did. They chose to remove the male parts. Now the child is 8 years old and wants to be a boy. He acts like a boy and appears to be a boy. His parents let him be what he wants to be. So now they are suing the doctors because they choose to remove the male parts and there was no medical reason that one of the parts either male or female had to be removed at the time.
