King Richard III found

King Richard the III was found on Monday. They were digging up a parking lot and they found a skeleton. they did DNA tests on it and it says it King Richard the III. This was in Leicester, England. They were doing an archaeological dig when they found these bones. they say his "remains will be reburied in Leicester Cathedral .  This is close to the site where he was buried when he died many years ago. They say they were lucky to find his bones in such good condition. He died 5 centuries ago and  with building built almost on top of his bones they are amazed they were still all there except his feet they were missing. This is interesting how they can identify hows bones they were just from DNA and the DNA form a few family members.

more than 150 baby bones found under house

Last week a guy found more than 150 bones under his house. He was re-doing his floor boards and he found little baby bones. The bones were looked at and they are said to be human baby bones. This house is the oldest in its county it was build in 1840. It is from during the Civil War. This house is famous because of the guy who lived there(James something).  They say the babies probably died from scarlet fever when they were little and put their when they died.

Bad fire in Australia

There is a '"catastrophic'" fire in the southeastern part of Australia. Temperatures may rise to 109 degrees Fahrenheit near Sydney. There are high winds pushing the fire around (43 mph). The wind also brings the temperature down in some places so its not so hot there. 90% of the area is in a sever risk form this fire they could loose their homes or loose lives loved one form this. Because if this huge fire some people think the risk is as bad as 'black Saturday' that happened in 2009. Black Saturday killed 173 people and injured 500. Also destroying lots of homes.  There are 130 fires going on Tuesday and there were still a bunch  uncontrolled. They say no homes have been destroyed as of Tuesday. They have hot dry conditions witch doesn't help the fire can spread easily in these conditions. I would never want to live in a area where they have wildfires.

cars sales go up

In five years they think car sales will go up. At the end of last year 2012 there was 14.5 million sales. It went up 13% form 2011 and its the largest sales increase since 1984. Jesse Toprak said "It certainly shows the demand is coming back". This really surprises me with such high gas prices and with the was our economy is. They say that improving employment and better financing is helping increase sales. Also people are buying used cars and trading in their old cars to get a new one. This is helping too and that is also included in the 14.5 million. So its not just brand new cars people are buying. Are things starting to turn around that people are spending money on new cars with the high gas prices?

2013

The world is not going to end on Friday. 2013 will come and we will still be here.The people that do believe that it will end may do stupid thing though. I think there will be a baby boom. A lot of people might do what they have always wanted to do like go cliff diving or skydiving.Like the thing on their list of things they want to do before they die. 2013 I think will be like any other year new things will come out people will want it they will spend their money. Maybe something crazy will happen like prices on stuff goes down like gas or food price. I do think something will change drastically though. They keep saying how the world is going to end and I don't think it will, so something else big has to happen.

George W.Bush is going to be a grandpa

George W. Bush is going to be a grandpa for the first time. His daughter Jenna Bush Hager is pregnant. She is due in the spring. George Bush and his wife are "thrilled" to be grandparents. They say they are going to spoil their grandchild. Jenna and her husband are also very excited about having a baby but Jenna is nervous about it. They asked George what they baby will call him and she said "Sir!". I don't think he will do that. It's his first grandchild I don't think he will be harsh like that.

Burglar calls 911

In Springtown, Texas a burglar Christopher Moore called 911 because he was being held at gunpoint.  James Gerow was the homeowner and and his son is the one that pointed the gun. When Moore called the cops he didn't even know where he was all he said was "i'm out in the country somewhere. Someone guy's got a gun on me.". They found where he was because Lindy Gerow called the cops also and they put it together she had told the cops to hurry "or my husband's was going to shoot him." Christopher was aressted  for burglary and is held on a $35,000 bond.
